Hi everyone–
I am so hidden in the writing cave. I’m working on edits for Brush with Catastrophe, publishing a short novella for the holidays, writing Snow Balls for the holidays AND, a near first for me, i’m writing a short story for Halloween! This is hard. I don’t do short. I do medium-sized books. My ideas tend to play out between 35 and 65 thousand words. Trying to write something interesting, motivated, hot and satisfying in 5,000 words is a challenge. The story is tentatively titled Trex or Treat and it’s a MM romance that centers around the haunted house a new neighbor installs in his just purchased home in a family neighborhood. I know it sounds paranormal, but it’s actually contemporary. I will be finishing it this weekend and i’ll let you know if the publisher likes it. Talk soon. : )
