Hi everyone–
I leave next Tuesday for GayRomLit in Albuquerque. There’s soo much fun stuff going on — readings and author Q&As (a bit of Truth or Dare?), booksignings, and parties, parties, parties. Two of my most anticipated events involve glitter and glue!
One of the first events on the program is Pimp My Badge. This is a reprise of an event we did at RT in Chicago and will do again at RT in Kansas City. I get to hang out with authors Lynn Lorenz, TA Chase, ZA Maxfield, Belinda McBride, Stephani Hecht and Lex Valentine for this one. The idea is that guests come in and glitter up their badges with buttons, bows, stickers and stuff. The badges look great for the whole conference and meanwhile all the participants get to win prizes offered by the authors. This one is a lot of FUN. I’m looking forward to it.
On that same day is the Rainbow Romance Writers Scrapbooking event. Many members of RRW will be attending GRL (of course! It’s our community!) and each person is bringing a scrapbook page they have designed themselves. You’ll see mine in the photo above under my new bookmark designed by the fantastic Mina Carter! To add to the pages, we each bring swag and fun stuff. I have kitty paw prints that say Brush with Catastrophe in honor of my new release coming Oct 30th, plus Spell Cat stickers, beads and letters and ribbons. Plus, my beautiful bookmarks can be added as well.
I have a lot of my pretty scrapbook pages and will have a bunch left over. Do you have any ideas how i can use them after GRL?
I also want to let you know that there will be a fun Halloween Heat Blog Hop on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on my Author Blog. There will be fun prizes so be sure and stop by and leave a comment.
