I saw Rogue One today and really enjoyed it. It’s a prequel to the original Star Wars, as you probably know, and tells us how the rebels happened to have the plans for the Death Star at the beginning of Star Wars Episode 4. Lets just say, many people died to get them. Rogue One is a very plot driven film and there are a ton of details in it. This creates a perfect environment for hidden and surprise elements — called Easter eggs — to be buried in the plot as inside jokes that are gotten by those in the know and missed by everyone else.
