Hi everyone–
Not long until Christmas, but i’ve already gotten some great gifts. I want to share my happy dances in case you haven’t heard my tap dancing all over the Internet.

First, the wonderful Elisa Rolle of Elisa Reviews put up her 2012 Gay Romance Challenge. This is a compilation of the best selling gay romances on Amazon for the year. Here’s what she said about how she figures the list — These are the 2012 results, and to determine the 100 books I simply considered all books that appeared at least once in the monthly Bestsellers list and gave them a rate equal to their position; of course if a book appeared more than once they received a bonus point for each time they made the list and their position is the average position plus the bonus. So this is the final list,

This is a great list of books for anyone who enjoys gay romances. Here’s the LINK.  http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/1833151.html  I am delighted to say that THREE of my books were on the list — Fire Balls, Snow Balls my new release, and Volley Balls! I think there’s a chance i might have had a fourth book listed had Spell Cat been categorized as a gay romance (which of course it is) but it only made the Gay Fiction bestseller lists. But believe me, i’m not complaining. this was a honor and a thrill!

Brush with Catastrophe, the sequel to Spell Cat, was a Reviewer TOP PICK at Night Owl Reviews! Take a peek. http://www.rainbowbookreviews.com/book-reviews/snow-balls-balls-to-the-wall-4-by-tara-lain-at-etopia-press   Reviewer Terri said,

“This is a wonderful blend of a m/m romance and a paranormal. I’m not sure where this series is going but I plan on following where ever it leads!”

Then i got a notice that Snow Balls was reviewed by the marvelous Lena Grey at Rainbow Books Reviews. Here’s the LINK. http://www.rainbowbookreviews.com/book-reviews/snow-balls-balls-to-the-wall-4-by-tara-lain-at-etopia-press

Lena said.” Tara’s men are always absolutely delightful and atypical, which makes them even more interesting. JJ and Ryan are both gorgeous, but they are also intelligent, talented, creative, and compassionate. They have their flaws, but they find ways to overcome them, which creates not only a fabulous story, but presents a great opportunity to remind us that it’s always best to be ourselves. This story can be read alone, but it will be much more enjoyable if read in sequential order. I would recommend this story to everyone who believes love is worth fighting for regardless of the obstacles. Thanks so much, Tara, for adding Ryan and JJ to your ‘Balls’ series.”

So i’m sure you can tell i’m losing weight from all the exercise happy dancing! And, of course, Snow Balls is a bestseller so i have cookies AND milk! Thank you everyone for wishing my books the best. You can tell that some of my holiday wishes have already come true!  : )
