Is it research or life experience?

On more occasions than I care to remember, I’ve been asked if my stories are based on real life experiences. These questions have come from friends and family, people who know me, people who should know better. So it makes me blush when I think about the unanswered questions my readers may have.

Did I really go to a Halloween party with my husband and have our first ménage? Do I enjoy spying on my neighbor when he’s half naked and covered in sweat? Have I ever been propositioned by my boss?

The answer to all these questions is a resounding – Hell no!

Now don’t get me wrong, I would love to have a menage, but for starters, getting more than one ‘eager to please’ man in the same place at the same time is like herding kittens onto a paper bag. So no, my
