I wanted to leave you with a quote from a wonderful new review of Volley Balls at Whipped Cream Reviews. Four and a half stars from Myrtle who doesn’t love short books. I’m stoked. Here’s a bit of what she said.
I definitely loved the plot with all the excitement and banter that went on between the characters. The courtship was not a bed of roses and had a number of road blocks to keep me wondering if it would be a happy ever after. Ms. Lain did a beautiful job in creating a funny but emotional tale to entertain the reader. As a whole,the book was short but an attention getter and worth reading again in the future. This tale was truly a sensual and decadent experience that I will not forget any time soon. The whole story was a light and entertaining read that left me with a smile on my face thinking about an “Aussie sandwich”.
I do enjoy Ms. Lain’s writing style and her unique sense of humor which makes her books stand out in a sea of other publications. She is one author I would recommend to anyone that is looking for someone new to read.
