How to Howl at the Moon by Eli Easton
Sheriff Lance Beaufort is not going to let trouble into his town, no sir. Tucked away in the California mountains, Mad Creek has secrets to keep, like the fact that half the town consists of ‘quickened’—dogs who have gained the ability to become human. Descended on both sides from border collies, Lance is as alert a guardian as they come. Tim Weston is looking for a safe haven. After learning that his boss patented all of Tim’s work on vegetable hybrids in his own name, Tim quit his old job. A client offers him use of her cabin in Mad Creek, and Tim sees a chance for a new start. But the shy gardener has a way of fumbling and sounding like a liar around strangers, particularly gorgeous alpha men like Sheriff Beaufort. Lance’s hackles are definitely raised by the lanky young stranger. He’s concerned about marijuana growers moving into Mad Creek, and he’s not satisfied with the boy’s story. Lance decides a bit of undercover work is called for. When Tim hits a beautiful black collie with his car and adopts the dog, its love at first sight for both Tim and Lance’s inner dog. Pretending to be a pet is about to get Sheriff Beaufort in very hot water.

Wolf in Gucci Loafers by Tara Lain
Socialite Lindsey Vanessen wants someone to love who will love him back—an impossibility for a gay, half-human, half-werewolf. Too aggressive for humans, too gay for wolves, and needing to protect the pack from human discovery, Lindsey tries to content himself with life as a successful businessman. But when someone starts kidnapping members of wealthy families, Lindsey meets tough cop Seth Zakowsy—the hunky embodiment of everything Lindsey wants but can’t have.
Seth has never been attracted to flamboyant men. What would the guys in the department think of Lindsey? But intrigue turns to lust when he discovers Lindsey’s biting, snarling passion more than matches his dominant side. It might mean a chance at love for a cop in black leather and a wolf in Gucci loafers.

Thank you so much for entering Big Backlist Weekend!!
I have to say that paranormal and fantasy are my absolute favourites. To step outside the realm of what is “normal” or “possible” in the real world is so exciting. There are so many possibilities. And boy am I a sucker for a wolf story. 🙂
I’ve got to say I’ve read both How to Howl at The Moon and Wolf In Gucci Loafers and they were brilliant. I’ve read the rest of your Harker Pack series but not yet Easton’s series, though they’re on my TBR. 😀
I enjoy many genres, especially in m/m romance. I particularly love the wide paranormal, fantasy and sci-fi genres – much like with general fiction. I love how our universe is altered to reveal new and amazing creatures, abilities and societies… Or with others, whole new worlds, cultures and beliefs. I love a good quest as well as a characters internal struggle or development. Anything that draws me… But it MUST have a HEA 😉
I think paranormal romance will always be my favorite genre, but I like the romance genre as a whole and most other genres too. I like to mix it up 🙂 I just stay away from the horror section. lol.
I love M/M and read it almost exclusively. I love romances that have happily ever afters and friends who become lovers. I would really love to read more about sex surrogates and the disabled clients they work with. I have read Eli Easton’s “The mating of Michael” and I loved it.
I have both of these and they really are great! My favorites are paranormal (but mostly shifters) and contemporary.
I love hurt/comfort and anything with a taste of otherness.
Thank you for sharing your work with us, readers. A few months ago i used to said i hate paranormal romances, but somehow i pushed myself to read one, and a next one after that, then i couldn’t stop myself and now i’m sure that i was talking nonsense, i just haven’t give it a try and when i did, i learn to love a new genre. I have read some great reviews about both books, they sound really great. So, thanks again for the oportunity of reading them.
I read most everything but I love paranormal. thanks for the chance.
I don’t really have a favourite genre to read. I’m all about the story and the characters and if they manage to hook me it doesn’t matter what universe they live in. Thanks for the opportunity to win either of these fabulous sounding books 🙂
Within m/m. I like troubled heroes and personal growth. Not a genre, but features of the books I like.
I like most genres, it all depends on how I feel but more often I just enjoy the story and hope it has an eventual happy ending
My fave genre is paranormal/sci fi most days. I get into moods where I like historical and contemporary, but I always go back to the fantasy land.
I read and enjoy everything except horror.
My favorite is dragon shifters! But I really like anything! I really love the animal ones, and cooking ones as well! Thanks for the chance!
Lydia
I LOVE Shifters of all kinds, SteamPunk, Time fravel & contemporary, Heck I LOVE all genres 8D
Hmmm, any new Lindsey & Seth stories? PLEASE!!
Oh Mina, I’m so sorry. No Lindsey on the horizon. So many books, so little time! : )
Awww, I miss Super Granny
Me too, Mina. You may be changing my mind! LOL. : )
I read and love most genres, though I’m partial to contemporary and paranormal lately.
I predominantly read m/m fiction now. But still enjoy anything that’s paranormal, fantasy, sci-fi. I also don’t mind a mystery/suspense/thriller sometimes.
