Well, Volley Balls did not win for Hottest Menage at the MM Romance Readers Poll at Goodreads. (They must not have seen the cover! LOL) My sincere congratulations to all the winners. So fantastic. They will be posting the whole list on the site tonight! But while i was cheering on the winners i started getting messages from friends saying “Have you been to the Romance Studio today?” It turns out that at the recent three-day New Year’s Party at TRS that i was voted FAVORITE AUTHOR! I am amazed. For a MM author to be voted favorite at a party where there are some very popular het writers is very unusual and that it should be me is even more so. Thank you, readers! I am truly honored by your kindness. In addition to the delight in winning i received a fantastic advertising package from TRS plus an additional year of membership as a featured member for free. Thank you, TRS!
Starting on the 16th is the voting for the Love Romances Cafe Best of 2011 Awards. The voting will go on until the 24th. I’ll be coming to ask for your support for my two nominations — Best Author of 2011 and Best Series of 2011–but i truly know that there are a lot of favorites on that list so it will be a “vote your preference” moment. I am just so happy to have been nominated.
I am thinking about starting a Tara Lain Street Team. Readers who want to participate would receive special stuff like some free books and swag and group recognition in return for reading, reviewing, rating, and promoting my books.
