Hi everyone– First let me say that you must go over to http://taralain.blogspot.com and join in the New Year’s First Kisses Party! Over 50 authors have posted “first kiss” excerpts at my blog and at Kay Berrisfords in the UK and you can win wonderful GCs and book if you answer a few simple questions correctly.

Now, on to my huge thank you! As you may know, i was first published in January of 2011. On January 4th, i’ll be celebrating my anniversary with some giveaways but today, New Year’s Eve, i want to thank you all fro this great year in publishing.

Here’s a few high points:

At the beginning of the year, i learned that i had been voted Best Author of 2011 and my Genetic Attraction Series — The Scientist and the Supermodel, Genetic Attraction , and Deceptive Attraction –was runner-up for Best Series. What a way to start the year!

In February, my contemporary gay romance, Fire Balls, came out from Etopia Press, and WOW, it turned out to be my biggest seller. Fire Balls hit number one on the Amazon gay romance charts and hung on for dear life for days. It stayed on the bestseller list for months and months and pulled other books like Volley Balls up with it.

Just a month and a half later came Spell Cat from Loose Id. My first paranormal romance, it proved to be another huge seller. Heck people would buy it for the gorgeous cover alone!

In the next few months  i released Sinders and Ash from Amber Quill Press which piled up a ton of 5 Star reviews, and Beach Balls which again made its mark on the gay romance lists.

And then came two lovely books — First was Genetic Celebrity which was voted the Romance Studio Five Heart Sweetheart after receiving a wonderful 5 Heart Review. It was followed by Brush with Catastrophe, the popular sequel to Spell Cat! I recently learned that BOTH of these books have been nominated for a CAPA Award!

I ended the year as i began it — with a lot of Balls! On December 7th, i released Snow Balls, and this story has proved to be a major favorite of many people. It’s made the top ten bestseller list at ARe and has been on the gay romance bestseller list at Amazon for a month so far.

Shortly after Snow Balls released i got the delightful news that THREE of my books in 2012 had made Elisa’s Reviews 2012 Gay Romance Challenge List — a list of the Top 100 bestselling gay romances on Amazon for the year!

I have had a happy dancin’ kind of year and i want to say thank you! Thank you for all your help, encouragement, support, and enthusiasm. I wish for you — for all of us — an even better 2013 full of love, joy, peace and fun.

Happy New Year!!

*hugs*
