Genetic Celebrity Release Day and Giveaway!
Today marks a milestone for me – the re-release of GENETIC CELEBRITY, the final book in the Genetic Attraction Series! These books were written early in my career (2011 and 2012) and were available for a number of years. Then when the publisher, Loose Id, closed, my rights were returned. By that time, I was publishing only MM romance and was traditionally publishing with Dreamspinner Press. I swore I’d get around to self-publishing the 4 books of the Genetic Attraction Series, but I didn’t know much about self-publishing, and I was super busy just writing. Finally last November, I took the plunge and became a serious self-publisher. I’m now a hybrid author. I’ve begun re-releasing some of my backlist, and this series was tops on the list. New editing, new covers, and now, a few months later, all four books are back on the market.
Genetic Celebrity is the story of Tommy “Tick tock” Riley who’s an accomplished amateur chef and madly in love with Booky, a beautiful, driven agent — a female agent. But he’s always been bisexual, and when Booky starts representing Shay Shaleen, a gorgeous, androgynous model, Tommy’s hormones get scrambled. If you like food, fun, complicated characters, and some hawt sex, you might want to give GENETIC CELEBRITY a try!
Genetic Celebrity is a lot about food since my hero, Tommy, is an amateur chef and his lovers adore his cooking. I’ll give a $7.00 Amazon GC (US) to one commenter on the blog who shares a favorite dish that you like to make at home (or carry out if you don’t cook). I like to make broccoli and cheddar risotto with chicken in my Instant Pot. What’s your fave?

Chicken & dumplings
I just made a pot of cream of potato soup. I make it with heavy cream. Top off the bowl with crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, and chives.
meatloaf
My favorite recipe is for spice cake. It’s a comfort food for my soul. The recipe is from an old, tattered cookbook of my mother’s, and we used to beg her to make it. Eventually, she told me to just make it myself. I really need to make one again, now that I live with Mom again.
Oh, love your books! Great covers, too!
