Hi! GRL is over and i can only say that i’m even more impressed with the amazing talent and dedication of this batch of gay romance authors. I’m spending a few days on vacation after GRL, but i wanted to feature a few more of the fabulous authors you should look into if they’re not already your favorites:

Damon Suede

Featured Author
Damon
Suede
Damon Suede grew up out-n-proud deep in the anus of right-wing America, and escaped as soon as it was legal. Having lived all over, he’s earned his crust as a model, a messenger, a promoter, a programmer, a sculptor, a singer, a stripper, a bookkeeper, a bartender, a techie, a teacher, a director… but writing has ever been his bread and butter. Damon is a proud member of the Romance Writers of America and currently the president of its LGBT romance chapter, the Rainbow Romance Writers. Though new to gay romance fiction, Damon has been writing for print, stage, and screen for two decades, which is both more and less glamorous than you might imagine. He’s won some awards, but counts his blessings more often: his amazing friends, his demented family, his beautiful husband, his loyal fans, and his silly, stern, seductive Muse who keeps whispering in his ear, year after year.

Tere Michaels

Featured Author
Tere
Michaels
Tere Michaels unofficially began her writing career at the age of four when she learned – via a Disney magazine subscription – that people got paid to write stories. It seemed the most perfect and logical job in the world and after that, her path was never in question. The romance writer part was written in the stars – she was born on Valentine’s Day. It took thirty-six years of “research” and “life experience” and well…life…before her first book, “Faith & Fidelity” was published but there are no regrets (she doesn’t believe in them). Along the way, she had some interesting jobs in television, animation, arts education, PR and a national magazine – but she never stopped feeling like a writer or believing she would eventually earn her living that way. Tere’s specialties are snark, angst, and happily ever afters. And not so happily ever afters that eventually work out because she is, after all, a romantic – tempered with realism. She is a member of RWA, Rainbow Romance Writers and Liberty States Fiction Writers. Her home base is a small town in New Jersey, very near NYC, a city she dearly loves. She shares her life with her husband (of fifteen years) and her twelve-year-old son who will just not stop growing, and three exceedingly spoiled cats. Spare time is spent watching way too much sports programming, going to the movies, long walks in the park, reading her book club’s current selection, Sims 3 and volunteering for her town’s Little League program. Nothing makes her happier

J.P. Bowie

J.P.
Bowie
J.P. Bowie was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland. He wrote his first (unpublished) novel – a science fiction tale of brawny men and brawnier women that made him a little suspect in the eyes of his family for a while. Leaving home at age eighteen for the bright lights of London, he found himself in the midst of a “diverse and creative crowd” that eventually led him to the performing arts. For the next twelve years he sang, danced and acted his way around the theatres of London and the provinces, appearing in shows with many famous British singers, actors and comedians. After immigrating to the US and living for many years in Las Vegas where he worked for that incomparable duo, Siegfried and Roy, J.P. found himself entranced by the fair city of San Diego where he currently lives with his partner, Phil. J.P. loves to hear from his readers and can be contacted at [email protected]
