A long time ago when the movie Philadelphia was being filmed someone asked Tom Hanks what it was like to kiss Antonio Banderas. The charming Hanks replied that now he knew what it felt like to be the envy of all the women and half the men in the world. Sigh. Watching two men kiss is a huge treat for more women (and men) than will probably admit it. And to celebrate the releases of my new M/M novels The Scientist and the Supermodel  and Volley Balls which have some pretty yummy kisses in them, I want to share the pleasure of boys kissing boys.

Let’s plunge right in. I adore androgynous men – not everyone’s taste I know –but that makes me a big fan of the adorable Adam Lambert who has single-handedly upped the male/male kissing quotient of the world by a big percentage. This picture is from his world tour where every night he kissed his lead guitarist, Tommy, reported to be straight but obviously unprotesting, much to the delight of his audiences.
The popular television series Torchwood features some beautiful and touching gay love scenes involving the hero played by John Barrowman. I don’t know the storyline but I sure do love these scenes.

I’ve always been a big fan of the brilliant actor, Daniel Day Lewis. Have you ever seen the film he made early in his career called My Beautiful Laundrette? Even today, the scenes of Day Lewis as a gay street punk in love with a Pakistani boy hold up as models of truly steamy gay sex on film – and some lovely kissing.

And now to offer something for everyone.  Do you like your boys young and pretty?

Athletically imaginative?
Passionate and sweaty?
Or very, very wet?

Aren’t you glad you came by the blog today?  I’m glad you did.  :  )
