Hi everyone —

The last six days have been amazing in my book life. I knew i really liked KNIGHT OF OCEAN AVENUE, my new release. I knew my agent loved it and my publisher. But WOW! The book released on Friday (May 1st) and people started to buy it.  A lot of people. It’s been hanging around the 600s in the Kindle Store ever since. For those who don’t have to live and die by Amazon numbers, that means out of a couple million books including 50 Shades of Grey and Harry Potter, only 600 and some are selling better than Knight. That’s good enough to make it hop back and forth between #2 and #3  on the gay romance bestseller list. Which is cool! It’s #1 in gay romance at Canada and UK Amazon. Heck, it even did well at Barnes & Noble!

The book climbed the All Romance eBooks charts and is now (as i write this) #1 in gay romance, #1 in contemporary romance, #1 in new adult, and #1 OVERALL on the whole store bestseller list. I’ve been on each of those lists before at that rank, but never all at once.
