profilepix2Hi. Sometimes people ask me questions about myself, so i thought maybe i’d offer a little information for those who don’t know me well. Here are Ten Tara Facts —

1. I adore cats and post them on FB all the time, plus i’ve written some fun cat characters in my Aloysius Talescathi series and the character of Paris in the Pack or the Panther — BUT, i own a dog. My honey is very allergic to cats, so we have a Papillon, which is a very catlike dog. She even washes her face with her paw like a cat.Jolietoy

2. I was born in Augusta, GA. but have never been back. Army brat’s lives are like that.

3. I call Washington, D.C. home although i only lived there a relatively few years and wasn’t born there. My grandparents lived there and i went to college there.

4. I consider Paris the most beautiful city in the world. Yes, Venice is amazing, but there’s just something about Paris. Maybe the quality of the light and the freshness of the food.

5. I started writing gay romance after reading Heaven by Jet Mykles. I was so overwhelmed and delighted by the freedom and freshness of the pairing — i had to try it myself!

8. I really like snakes. In fact, i’m pretty impressed with most animals, but snakes hold a special fascination. Oh yeah, more therapy required.

9. I’m very, very happily married — to a man.

10. I’m pretty much as exuberant, optimistic, and positive as i appear. I honestly used to worry about it since i had a very complex and difficult childhood. I used to think, maybe i was kidding myself. After much therapy and 30 years of yoga, i can honestly say — nope. this is me.
