Author Bio:

Vicktor “Vic” Alexander wrote his first story at the age of ten and hasn’t stopped writing since. He loves reading about anything and everything and is a proud member of the little known U.N. group (Undercover Nerds) because while he lives, eats, breathes, and sleeps sports, he also breathes history and science fiction and grew up a Trekkie. But don’t ask him about Dungeons & Dragons, because he has no idea how to play that game. When it comes to writing he loves everything from paranormal to contemporary to fantasy to historical and is known not only for being the Epilogue King but also for writing stories that cross lines and boundaries that he doesn’t know are there. Vic is a proud father of two daughters one of whom watches over him from Heaven with his deceased partner Christopher. Vic is a proud trans* and gay man, and when he is not writing, he is hanging out with his friends, or being distracted by videos of John Barrowman, Scott Hoying, and Shemar Moore. Vicktor has published numerous bestselling novels and has a WIP list that makes him exhausted just thinking about. He knows that he will be still be writing about hot men falling in love with each other, long after he is living in an assisted living facility, flirting with the hot, male nurses.

Centuries after the destruction of Earth, destiny is being fulfilled and plans are in motion to restore not only the Earth, but mankind, to its former glory. One family is fated to bring about this amazing destiny. One man puts it all in motion, the day he crashes on to the wolf-planet of Tumaro and met his mate.

Talon Versuthion always knew that some kind of way, life was going to screw him over. His parents died when he was just a boy and he can’t remember a thing about them. He was adopted by a great family only to have them tell him that he is a Vermithian, one of the most despised humanoid species. Even worse than that? He has no idea that a prophecy was made about his family, one that mentions that someone from the Versuthion family will bring back a pure human race. And there are people out there who will stop at nothing to make sure that never happens. No matter what.
While on a delivery for the GPA with his adopted sister Josie, however, Tal’s space shuttle crashes onto Tumaro, the notorious wolf-shifter planet. Tal is lucky to be alive, though Josie can’t be found. He is desperate to find her, but destiny steps in and history is changed forever. Because the Alpha King of the planet, Blazell Roughshire, is Talon’s mate. And before the two men can even settle into their new relationship they must deal with conspiracy, murder, kidnapping and a centuries old plot to completely eradicate the human race. Will Blaze be able to keep his mate safe from those who would see him dead? Is Tal truly the only one left from his family who can fulfill this centuries old prophecy? And can Tal, who has made it a point to never fall in love with anyone, open his heart and let Blaze be Passion’s hero?

“Where the hell are my clothes? More than that. Where the hell is my sister?” Talon yelled, pulling the bedcovers up to his chin.

Blazell laughed heartily, not at all deterred by his mate’s little freak-out. “Your clothes
were destroyed in your accident, my love. I took the liberty of removing the hospital gown you
wore when I brought you here to our bedroom,” he stated with amusement.

“Our bedroom?” Talon questioned in a small, hesitant voice, quivering with fear and shock.

“Yes, love, our bedroom. Where we will sleep and make love, more so the latter than the
former.” He didn’t know how to respond about the man’s sister. He hadn’t heard anything about there being anyone else found at the crash.

He would fully admit he was being rather selfish at the moment and only wanted to focus on his mate’s well-being and Talon’s sudden appearance in his life. Once they were fully bonded, Blazell would look into Talon’s missing sister. Blazell knew that made him an asshole, but, at the moment, he couldn’t bring himself and his wolf to feel ashamed.

Talon shook his head in bewilderment. “But you don’t even know me, and I certainly don’t know you!”

“My soul knows yours, my heart embraces yours, and my life and I were made for you as
yours was made for me. I know you in the deepest parts of me, even though my mind may not,”
Blazell declared. “You were made for me,” he said as he placed his hands on either side of his
mate’s face, his thumbs delicately caressing Talon’s cheeks. “As I was made for you.”

Adera Orfanelli is ABDUCTED by a Hunky Android

Please help me welcome Adera Orfanelli who is launching a new book that sounds delightful and sexy! It’s called ABDUCTED. Be sure to hop down below and enter on the Rafflecopter for the beautiful print. Here’s Adera —

The Allure of Androids

In Abducted the heroine falls in love with a very life-like android, except he can do a few things that human males can’t do. I won’t spoil the fun surprise, but let’s just say it’s sure a feature every woman wishes she had in her boyfriend, mechanized or not.

I’m old enough to remember the way that the knowledge of Data (from Star Trek: The Next Generation) being “fully functional” set fandom all aflutter. At least the female, and probably quite a few of the male, fans. There were perks to having someone who wasn’t limited by our human needs for things like food and sleep.

Robots, and androids, have long remained figures of imagination. From the Jetsons to the work being done in Japan with robotics, finding a robot to provide companionship, not just do menial tasks, is at the forefront. There is interesting, if not exciting, work with robots being able to remind disabled or elderly persons to take their medications, as well as provide assistance when necessary. When not doing so, they provide companionship, and that’s important.

In the context of the book…why an android? For me I wanted to be fun. Yes, I was playing with the idea of being abducted by aliens, swept away to a life far different from our own here on Earth. And yet, the more some things change, the more they stay the same. And if someone has to be swept away from Earth by an android, at least in this case he is more than “fully functional”.

Abducted_AderaOrfanelli_coverlgGetting abducted by a hunky android wasn’t on Jacey’s list of things to do to try and reclaim her life after the death of her best friend and the loss of their business. But when her car crashes during a storm, she’s saved not by any rescue vehicle, but by Aiden Starsek, the Lord of BelaZed who informs her that he must have a wife or face deactivation. Jacey blames herself for her friend’s death. If she can stop another one, even if it means giving up everything she’s ever known, she will.
Aidan knows Deactivation Day nears and unless he’s able to find a human to love him he’ll die.. Unable to find love on his own planet, he discovers the beautiful Jacey on her own world, Earth. Her beauty entices him. Her compassion humbles him. And though in bed their passion is insatiable, he fears that it won’t turn to love in time to save his life. Only her love will save him, not just from Deactivation Day, but also from himself.

VOODOO ‘N’ VICE! HAWT MM SCI-Fi from Kc Burn. 1 4 U

CARINA_0514_9781426898419_VoodooViceLgHi everyone —

Today, i’m so happy to welcome my friend and partner-in-crime, Kc Burn. I’m lucky to have Kc in my RWA chapter and we have breakfast together almost every month. Take a look at this HAWT new book she’s brought us don’t you love the cover?). Plus, she’s giving away a copy to one commenter so be sure to leave a comment and say hi!

VOODOO ‘N’ VICE Inspiration

There’s a Polynesian restaurant in Florida. It’s been there for years – my parents took me there several times over the years when we were in Florida on vacation, and when I met my boyfriend (the one who eventually became my hubby) I introduced him to it. It was the first dinner we had on our honeymoon thirteen years ago, and it was the site of a couple of anniversary dinners afterward. It’s been years since I’ve been there, and now that I live in California, I may never be back, but I have so many wonderful memories there, and because of it, I’ve got a fondness for the scent of gardenias.

The restaurant has a dinner show where they demonstrate a number of traditional dances and songs from the various Polynesian islands, including Samoan fire dances. The men who demo the fire dance are stunning. Just stunning. And they have such gorgeous tattoos.

One day while watching the show, I got the idea for a reserved, straight-laced military man watching the show, and getting hot under the collar (pun intended).  I kept that idea percolating in my mind for… years. Until Captain Arcturus, a by-the-book asshole of captain, showed up in the second of my Galactic Alliance series. And I realized with a little tweaking, I could use this idea to redeem the captain. Tai the not-entirely-human fire dancer sprang to life, ready to mesmerize a man who should despise everything about Tai.

Of course, it wasn’t quite as simple as that to work this storyline into the world building I’ve done for the Galactic Alliance series, but it sure was a lot of fun.

Want to win a book? Just comment and tell me about tattoos – love ‘em or hate ‘em? If you love them, well, let’s just say the tattoo you see on the (OMG – super hot) cover is just the tip of the iceberg. I’ll send an ebook to one random commenter.

Voodoo ‘n’ Vice is the third book in my Galactic Alliance series with Carina Press, but it can be read on its own.

After nearly causing a galactic incident, fleet captain Gideon Arcturus is disgraced, demoted and exiled with nothing to do but pass the time at a seedy club on seedier planet Elora Ki. It’s no place for a straight-laced soldier, but following the rules is what got him there in the first place. When he meets a mesmerizing fire dancer, he’d do anything to get close to the flame.

Tai doesn’t date customers—it’s far too dangerous for a man who was once for sale. But the shy, awkward Gideon entices him, and the two spend Gideon’s leave tangled together, neither knowing the passion that stirs within them won’t soon subside.

When a violent drug lord forces Tai back into slavery, Tai has no choice but to give up his new love. But when Gideon learns that Tai’s fate lies with those who brought about his own ruin, he’ll need to revisit his own difficult past in order to save them both.

GRL Day 1: Sex in Space and Other Pastimes

This is a fast report because i have a zillion things to do to get ready for a very busy Friday. The first day of the actual GRL Retreat began with fun and hilarity. I attended a great Q and A with Mary Calmes and Marie Sexton that charmed and inspired everyone. Serious talent in that crowded room. Then Angel Martinez, Belinda McBride, and Kc Burn shared the intricacies of creating scifi — sex in space! A fascinated audiences asked a raft of questions and learned about the range of approaches — from scientific planning to seat-of-the-pants– that are possible in creating good scifi romance. The big kickoff party hosted by MLR Press capped the evening for me although many will be powering on to the Gentlemen’s Juke Joint. And we all learned that GLR 2014 will be held in Chicago!

One of the best things about any conference is finally getting to meet friends face-to-face, IMG_0412sometimes for the first time, after years of being online pals.  Today i saw my friend, Portia de Moncur, a person who has been a wonderful support and inspiration to me since i started. It was a special treat. Here you see Portia with friend Kiernan Kelly in the Swag room. Okay. I’m off to write so have a great day and i’ll report more soon.  : )
