Hi everyone–

I’m delighted to be the next big thing!! Or at least to be a part of it. I’m going to answer some questions about my WIP and then send you to the four other authors who will share with you next Wednesday:

What is your working title of your book?
The title of my WIP which will be released by Etopia Press in February is Hearts and Flour

Where did the idea come from for the book?
I’m a bit of a health food fan, and i wondered what would happen if a real vegan, raw food fanatic were to fall for a guy who owns a cupcake store

What genre does your book fall under?
My book is contemporary, gay erotic romance

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
Hmmm. Very hard. My one hero, Quentin, wears women’s clothes and passes easily as a girl. Though he’s not an actor technically, think of Bill Kaulitz as a blond with curly hair.

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
A gay health food fanatic falls for a beautiful guy in drag not realizing he’s the owner of a much-despised cupcake store.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
The book will be published by Etopia Press

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
It’s a novella and is taking about one and a half months

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Jet Myles a Rose is a Rose is a little like it but that wonderful story is more about the transvestite.

Who or what inspired you to write this book?
I actually thought of the title before i conceived of the entire story. I was captivated by the play on words of “hearts and flour”.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

One of the heroes likes to wear women’s clothes but is afraid his respectable southern grandmother will find out about it.
