Hi everyone–

While we’ve been blog touring and blog hopping, my most recent release, Hearts and Flour, has been doing some hopping of it’s own. While it’s moving to the higher numbers on Amazon now (it’s still on the bestseller list) it has racked up a heap of praise from a lot of reviewers. I thought i’d share a little with you. (Check out the bottom of this post for an important announcement).

Lena Grey, super reviewer at Rainbow Book Reviews said:
“This is a light-hearted, endearing romance, which also touches on some more serious issues as well, i.e., being gay, fear of coming out, infidelity, loyalty, cross-dressing, and most important of all, being true to yourself. I recommend this story to everyone who would like to read a good Valentine’s Day story, excellently written, candid, with great humor, and seriousness all combined in a happily ever after package. Thank you, Tara, for a unique, enjoyable story.”

Our favorite ELF at Night Owl Reviews said:
Once again this author has provided enlightenment about a subject that I know nothing about even as her charismatic men struggle with acceptance and the judgement of society. I thought that the grandmother in this story was an inspiration with her poise and support and shows what family should be all about. I’m not sure I will ever get to the point of trying Micah’s version of healthy foods but I am definitely in the mood for a decadent cupcake now!”

Our pal, Buffy Kennedy at Buffy’s Ramblings said:
“There were some heartbreaking parts, when the ex re-enters the picture and of course the confrontation over the dreaded cupcakes. However, true to Tara Lain’s style, they’re absolutely worth getting through as the resolution is satisfying and just so light-hearted.

Another beautiful and endearing story of self-realization, self-acceptance, and love from this author, Hearts and Flour is not to be missed. It’s compelling from the first word to the last, and will leave you with a smile.”

“The sex was steamy and filled the pages of the story. Tara Lain never disappoints in her tales. She tackles difficult issues with clarity and humor.
Definite S.E.X.
A five handcuff review.”

Tams at MM Good Book Reviews said:
“All along the way Lain gives us not only some knock your socks off romps in white sheets, but she also touches on hatred, bigotry, blackmailing and stupidity.”

And there are many, many more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and flour) to all those who have taken the time to read this quirky book.

And now — I promised that we would start a Backlist Day. It’s coming this Saturday and Sunday, so it will be a Backlist Weekend. AND, i’ll not only feature one of my backlist books and offer it as a giveaway to some lucky commenter, i will also have a backlist book from my friend, Milly Taiden! So put it on the calendar and plan to come over and comment!

Meanwhile, i haven’t had any new followers on this blog for a long time, so if you don’t follow it, would you? : )
