Happy Release to Kristen Ashley!!

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Ashley comes a new story in her Chaos series…

Rosalie Holloway put it all on the line for the Chaos Motorcycle Club.

Informing to Chaos on their rival club—her man’s club, Bounty—Rosalie knows the stakes. And she pays them when her man, who she was hoping to scare straight, finds out she’s betrayed him and he delivers her to his brothers to mete out their form of justice.

But really, Rosie has long been denying that, as she drifted away from her Bounty, she’s been falling in love with Everett “Snapper” Kavanagh, a Chaos brother. Snap is the biker-boy-next door with the snowy blue eyes, quiet confidence and sweet disposition who was supposed to keep her safe…and fell down on that job.

For Snapper, it’s always been Rosalie, from the first time he saw her at the Chaos Compound. He’s just been waiting for a clear shot. But he didn’t want to get it after his Rosie was left bleeding, beat down and broken by Bounty on a cement warehouse floor.

With Rosalie a casualty of an ongoing war, Snapper has to guide her to trust him, take a shot with him, build a them…

And fold his woman firmly in the family that is Chaos.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

My dad had been a biker. He was a nomad when it came to that kind of thing (or, really, any kind of thing). He accepted being tied down by his woman and his daughter only, not anything else. Not a job. Not a mortgage. Not a membership to a club. He hung with a lot of them, including Chaos (in fact, Hammer, sadly now deceased, but one of the founding members of Chaos, had been my father’s best friend).

But he’d never hung with Bounty.

“Don’t like the feel of them,” I’d heard him mutter years ago. “If you’re an outlaw, own the outlaw. If you’re not, own that. You can’t wanna be a Gypsy Joker. You either are or you aren’t. They wanna be. But they aren’t. That shit just ain’t right and it could get dangerous.”

He’d been right.

It got dangerous.

I should have known.

I should have followed my dad.

Mom and me had done it all our lives, job to job, house to house, city to city.

Why I stopped…

I knew why I’d stopped.

I’d wanted Shy; Shy, who reminded me of Dad.

And when I couldn’t have him, I’d gone looking.

I’d wanted what my mom had.

I’d wanted that sweetness. That love.

That devotion.

I’d wanted the stability that just seeped down deep into your bones from all that no matter the job changing, the scenery changing, the amount of times you boxed up a house.

Stability had nothing to do with income and locale.

Stability was all in the heart.

About Kristen Ashley:

Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA and nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorize and she hadn’t taken her first breath!). Her mother said they took Kristen away, put her Mom back in her room, her mother looked out the window, and Gary was on fire (Dr. King had been assassinated four days before). Kristen’s Mom remembered thinking it was the end of the world. Quite the dramatic beginning.

Nothing’s changed.

Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana and has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus, she’s blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her family was (is) loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write. They all lived together on a very small farm in a small farm town in the heartland. She grew up with Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.

And as she keeps growing, it keeps getting better.

High Praise for HIGH BALLS by Tara Lain #TopPick #5Stars

Hi! I’m back from my vacation — which turned out to be a staycation since we weren’t able to take our trip due to changing schedules. I did get to go to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park on Monday, my actual birthday, and that’s one of my favorite things to do, so i had fun. My nicest gift was all the lovely praise for my new release, High Balls, that came in while i was gone. Thank you to all who have bought, read, reviewed, commented and messaged me about how much they like the book!

Yesterday, Night Owl Reviews named High Balls a Top Pick! ELF, the reviewer, said, ““High Balls” by Tara Lain reminds me of why I have long been a fan of this author. Her stories address painful and realistic subjects in a fashion that reminds us that there is light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how dark it seems. I always finish her books with a satisfied and uplifted attitude, and this story really was wonderful to read during the dark times we are living in, and my favorite, in a series that has featured some wonderful and unique men. I adore reminders that one needs to look beyond the surface before making an intelligent judgment, and Snake epitomizes that precept. Young Andy is beautifully presented and serves as a great reminder that children are definitely shaped (and sometimes scarred) by the adults who should be their role models. And who can resist Theodore, with his wonderful defense of romance novels and his unselfish devotion to his young son?”

A Kindle Fan called her 5 Star Review “My New Favorite” and said, “First of all I loved Teddy and Snake. The whole story is pure Tara. She makes situations so real. Emotions are so well portrayed you can feel them. As usual there is so much love in this story. The love between a father and child. The love of a new relationship. The love of a tight-knit group of friends become family. This is a true love story. Enjoy!”

Veronica at V’s Reads, says “For me, I loved the tenderness, and interactions between Theo, Andy and Snake. It’s a fun juxtaposition, this strapping biker-ish guy and the curious child, but they make great co-conspirators. Snake loves his “Teddy Bear” and he’s set to prove it any way he can. And, he’s not afraid to go to Theo’s friends and ask for their help, either. All the boys of the Ball to the Walls books assist Theo or Snake as they ensure Theo’s thesis gets fair treatment, and Andy’s paternity is affirmed. It’s a feel-good romance with a sweet HEA to enjoy.”

Lorraine L. says 5 Stars and “Tara Lain may have helped me in curing my phobia of snakes. I’ve finally one that’s doesn’t want to make me run away. This one however is not only pierced, has tats, big, oozes sex appeal and goes by the name of …..Snake Erasmo.
Now I don’t want to take the limelight away from the truly wonderful Theo, because he was special as well and of course the adorable Andy, but Snake was the naughty forbidden fruit for me.”

And these are just a few. Check out a bunch of great reviews on AMAZON. Or just click on the High Balls page. Thank you for stopping by and helping make this book a great success. And if you’re a Peter Pan fan, you might be surprised at how Peter and Wendy might look if Wendy happened to be Wendell and both guys were gay in my upcoming release Never, the next Pennymaker Tale, available November 3rd.

“Dialogue I Want to Write” Tara Lain #Movies #amwriting

Hi —

As a novelist, i tend to write a lot of dialogue and nothing is more fun than getting my characters talking and trying to keep up. My favorite films often have great dialogue too and i sit there and wish I’d written it. Here are a few examples, the first from Bull Durham, a magnificent comedy —

And heres another scene, this one from Groundhog Day, which i believe is one of the greatest movies ever made–

Another film on my list of the all time greats is Michael Clayton. This scene between George Clooney and the incomparable Tom Wilkinson has to make every author itch to get their fingers on the keys — or too awstruck to ever write again —

That’s all for now. My newest books include Fool of Main Beach, one of my personal faves, the rerelease of Cataclysmic Shift, and coming up is High Balls, a brand new book in the Balls to the Wall series. Thanks for coming by!

Romance Reviewers, Bloggers, & Supporters Make My Day!

Hi everyone–
I want to share a couple of wonderful things that have happened lately. Authors work hard to promote themselves — blog tours, Facebook Pages, Twitter, and so much more — but occasionally things just happen without you’re planning or knowing. These are two.

Recently, blogger Jessie Potts who contributes to the Happy Ever After Blog for USA Today included Hearts and Flour in her rundown of three favorite books that include sugar and spice. Here’s the LINK.

She said “This is a super sweet m/m romance between two unlikely characters. Which is exactly why I love reading Tara. She molds the most unique characters, then puts them in interesting situations.”

And then she said, “This is one of those books that makes you feel good when reading. There are some awesomely sweet moments. If you’re in the mood for a feel-good book with two hotties, check out Hearts and Flour.”
Needless to say, that made my day!

Then on the heels of that lovely experience, Anders Rodskar of Queer Town Abbey asked if i would like to be their Featured Author of the Month for June. You can imagine how fast i said yes! The post just went up today. If you have a minute, check it out HERE. He also made the charming captioned picture that i featured above.

Thank you to all the wonderful and dedicated reviewers, bloggers, and supporters of the romance genre in general and the LGBT romance genre specifically. It’s impossible to say how special you are and how much we appreciate your support. : )

There Was a Young Man from Charleston! The Lover’s Limerick

Hi everyone–
Awhile back, i was asked to write a poem about my recent release, Hearts and Flour. I created this limerick which i thought i’d share with you.

Limerick: A Young Man from Charleston
Here’s to a young lover named Quentin,
Who’s a sweetie we do want to mention,
He was born in the south, well I say shut my mouth,
And his bakery gets lots of attention.
When Quentin met Micah one day,
The two hit it off right away,
But a nasty ex-lover
Was soon to discover
Quentin never told grandma he’s gay!
The path of true love is not smooth
Since Micah loves only raw food.
 Quentin loves to express
By wearing a dress.
Will these two ever get in the mood?
When it looks like the plot will turn crappily,
Grandma steps in very snappily,
Q. learns Micah is his
And he’s loved as he is,
And we smile as it all ends up happily.
And just for fun, here’s an ADULT excerpt from Hearts and Flour. Enjoy! : )
Excerpt ADULT: HEARTS AND FLOUR by Tara Lain; MM Contemporary; The Vegan and the Cupcake Baker

Available at Amazon  ARe

To Micah Truveen, raw, vegan food is his religion. So when his devoted customers show up with white flour cupcakes, Micah could kill. Then Micah comes home to find his boyfriend, Dharamaram, in bed with someone else. He throws the rat out and agrees to go to his friend’s orgiastic anti-Valentines party where he meets a gorgeous cross-dressing guy who gives him a night to remember.

Southerner Quentin Darby wishes he could stop wearing women’s clothes. He so wants to live up to his grandmother’s glowing opinion of him, he’s never even told her he’s gay. And now there’s Micah who makes him wish he could just be who he is. But Micah finds out that Quentin is the baker responsible for the plague of cupcakes afflicting the community! And Dharmaram adds a little blackmail to the mix. Can two hearts rise above the flour?
He tightened his grip on Queen and pulled him to the hallway. The hall made a turn, and Micah bumped into a guy leaning against the wall while another guy deep throated his cock. Transfixed, he stared at the cock disappearing into that wet mouth and then reappearing all shiny and dripping. Both men moaned and mewled as they worked. Micah’s balls tightened and black dots floated in front of his eyes. It felt like he was getting the blowjob. Could a human be this turned on and survive?

He looked at Queen who stared just as fixedly with a little smile on his lips. His blue eyes flicked up to Micah’s. “Do you like that?”

“Hell yes.”

“My, so do I. Want me to blow you?”

Keeerap. In twenty-six years of being gay, he’d never gotten such a direct invitation. “Yes.”

Queen smiled like he’d just asked Micah to a garden party. He pulled on Micah’s hand, skirted past the very involved couple, and peeked into the first bedroom they came to.

“Unh, unh, unh. Oh baby.”

Queen looked up and smiled. “No privacy there.”

The next bedroom door was closed and locked. They looked into the third and found six guys on a king-size bed all sucking on each other. Micah trembled. If he stuck his hands in his pants and jerked off nobody would even care. Except maybe Queen.

The beautiful guy stepped in front of Micah and pushed him against a closed door at the end of the hall. “This place is busier than a billy goat’s ass in a pepper patch. Looks like we don’t get privacy, sugah.” Queen dropped to his knees, ripped down the zipper in Micah’s jeans, and had his throbbing, straining cock out of its hidey-hole and into his mouth on the count of three.

“Holy shit!”

“Ummmm.” Queen sucked like a pool cleaner. Oh. My. God. No way Micah could last more than a second. Never, never had he received head like this. Those red-painted lips left pink stains on his cock as it slipped in and out of Queen’s mouth. His tongue caressed the head and tickled the frenum as those lips did a vacuum move on Micah’s shaft. Oh God, never let it stop.

But no. He didn’t want to come like this. He knew what he’d been missing and, damn, he wanted it. He ran his hands through Queen’s silky hair. “Wait. Wait. Can I fuck you? I’ve got condoms and lube.”

Queen’s blue eyes looked up. He popped Micah’s cock from that fantastic mouth. “Most gentlemen seem to prefer oral.”

“Yeah, well I’d really love to fuck you if you’re into it. Otherwise, suck me and then I’ll suck you.”

Queen stood up, smoothing the red dress over a very prominent bulge. “You certain?”

Jeez. Why did he want to explain? Micah pressed both hands to either side of Queen’s beautiful face. “I don’t know if you care, but I’m not promiscuous. I’ve been with one guy for a year and before that was a long dry spell. I just came to this party because he cheated on me and we split. I was pissed off and wanted to do something stupid. But the idea of fucking you is about the sexiest, most incredible thing I’ve ever thought of. If you’ll have me.”

Queen smiled. “And you’re about the sweetest thing I ever did see. In case you care, I’ve never been to one of Yancy’s parties before. I’m new in town and mostly just wanted to wear my dress somewhere safe. But I think getting fucked by you, darlin’, would be the best thing ever.”

Thank you so much for coming by. I’m trying to reach 1000 likes on my Facebook Page. Would you help? : )

Crying While You Write! Getting the Author’s Best

Hi everyone–
I was writing a scene today in my new Aloysius Tale about three young men who come to a veterinary clinic and end up finding their pets. Simple enough. Two dogs and a cat. But i love animals and the moment grabbed me so much i was writing with tears running down my face.

I cry a lot while writing and i think most authors probably do. After all, we write from our own hearts and souls so the stories deal with our own issues, secret fears, and loves. I find a lot of my deepest feelings are reserved for the ends of my books. These are the moments when my characters understand something, usually about love, that changes them.

Here’s an example from my romantic suspense, Golden Dancer (warning. If you haven’t read the book, this takes place at the ending. Of course, it’s a romance, so you already know it will end happily).

Trelain pointed to another area on his floor plan. “Now, for the head table… Well, it won’t really be head. It will be a round table and placed amid the others so we can all talk. But anyway, at our table, of course, we’ll have your folks and my mum. I think they will all get along well and…”

Mac just stared.

Trelain touched his arm. “Mac?”

“My parents? You invited my parents?”

Daniel cocked his head. “Of course. They’re planning on coming out the week before to help with any last-minute plans. I’m going to fix up your cottage a little, if you don’t mind, and they can have the place to themselves…”

“My parents! They’re coming here? They wanted to come?”

Trelain rested a hand on Mac’s cheek. “Of course, darling. They want to see their son get married.”

Married. The tears that had threatened at the airport poured down his cheeks. Married. He was getting married. Nothing more. Nothing less. The loneliness. The hopelessness. No more. All the trials and problems and joys and ecstasy that married people shared, he got to have.

Daniel wrapped him in his arms. “Are those happy tears?”

Mac nodded, his head buried in Daniel’s shoulder.

“Well, okay then.”

When Daniel released Mac, he fell back on the bed, half crying and half laughing. “How many people are coming to our ceremony?”

Trelain shrugged with a look that could only be described as guilty. “Well, we wanted to keep it to a small group, but so many people wanted to come, and we couldn’t leave any out…”

“How many?”

Trelain grinned. “Three hundred.”

Mac held his stomach and laughed. Three hundred people were coming to his wedding. Three hundred people took this unconventional, unlikely, unsanctioned, and nearly unimaginable relationship seriously enough to want to come and celebrate with them. Or maybe they just wanted to drink Daniel’s champagne. He didn’t give a shit. He was happy. For the first time in his twenty-seven years, truly happy.

When i cry while writing my books, i know i’m giving my readers my best. Kind of like when i get turned on writing my love scenes. It doesn’t mean you as a reader will respond to the same things i do, but it does mean that i’m tapping into something genuine in myself.  And by the way, while i was copying the scene from Golden Dancer — i started to tear up.  LOL  Thanks so much for coming by. Werewolves and Kindles and Cool Stuff! Oh My! Milly Taiden’s B’Day Bash with WOLF PROTECTOR

Hi everyone–
This is a VERY fun week here on the blog with some of your favorite authors as my guests, Today and tomorrow — Milly Taiden, the sassy, adorable writer of werewolves extraordinaire! Milly’s new novella, Wolf Protector, has taken off like a shot. It’s bounding around the bestseller list like a wolf puppy. And Milly is the QUEEN of contests — she even outdoes me — so be sure and check out the rafflecopter below and sign up to win!. Here’s Milly —

The most common question I get ask is: How I get inspired.
I think each person is different and for some writers they love music, sound, photos, scenery, etc. Me? I’m easy. I need complete quiet. *insert laugh*. I guess because it’s one of the few things I get the least of, it’s what helps me really get in the zone of whatever story I’m trying to tell. I enjoy writing in a nice bright place with quiet and a room that isn’t too cold or I end up sleepy. I hate interruptions and usually lose focus if people come in and out or talk to me. I can end up pretty pissy (something my husband figured out a long time ago).

A woman with a secret…
The Federal Paranormal Unit is an elite squad of supernaturals dedicated to solving missing persons cases. Erica’s gift allows her a special connection with the crime, but it comes at a deep personal cost… Until now, she’s kept her gift a secret, even from the other members of the team. But this case will throw her together with Agent Trent Buchanan. He’s the object of her secret desires, but he’s also a cocky womanizer. She’d rather swim in shark-infested waters with a paper cut than admit she has feelings for him.

A man with one desire…
Wolf Shifter Trent wants Erica more than he’s ever wanted any woman. He’s spent years patiently waiting for her to admit that she wants him too. Working one-on-one in a race to find a serial killer, Trent’s patience and Erica’s resolve wear thin. When Trent discovers the truth about Erica, will he accept her for who she is? And can he protect her from the horrors that her gift brings?

A case that pushes them to the edge…
Erica will have to risk it all if she wants to stop the killer, and when she does, Trent may have to put his own life on the line to make sure his mate is protected…

Short Excerpt:

“Brock, he’s doing it again!” Erica glared at the Casanova walking beside her, hating how good he

looked in his black T-shirt and ass-hugging jeans. Trent Buchanan. He was her daily temptation and ultimate fantasy. And she’d rather wax her nipples in public than admit it to him. Butterflies swarmed her stomach, twisting and twirling her into one giant, aroused mess.

“What’s Buchanan done this time, Villa?” Brock, their team leader, asked without looking up from the papers on his desk.

“He’s staring at me.” She growled and dropped in one of the empty chairs, huffing out a breath.

Buchanan, The Bastard, as she liked to refer to his cute ass, grinned at her. His full, sexy lips caught her immediate attention. “Excuse me, I can’t help it if it’s a beautiful day, and I’m glad it’s Friday. You’re a grump, Villa.”

It was so unfair that she had to keep pushing him away when her body wanted to curl around his big frame. But if she ever did that she’d turn into another Trent groupie, and that was not her thing. She’d seen the other women in the department walk after him, ogling and almost drooling, as if he were the lead singer in a rock band. Pathetic.

Buchanan folded his arms over his massive chest. Erica’s entire body throbbed every time she looked at him. She drank in the inciting vision and argued with her lust for dominance. Disgusted with her body’s responses, she glared at him again. Her eyes strayed to the scar on his upper lip. She gulped and curled her fingers into her palms, digging her nails deep. Whenever she glanced at the tiny scar, she wanted to nibble and run her tongue over it. It was driving her insane. Thankfully he couldn’t read her mind, or he’d be having a hell of a time making fun of her tough talk.

“Villa, just look at me.” He opened his muscled arms wide and did a full circle for her. Once he was facing her again, he leaned on the wall. He winked at her. “If you didn’t have a stick the size of Texas up your ass, you’d realize what a catch I am.”

More Branding Questions. Are You Up for It?

Hi everyone–
Last week, i posted a request that people tell me what they think of when they hear the name Tara Lain or see one of my books. I got lots of answers and they were very informative. Thank you all so much. BTW. it looks like i will be doing a Branding workshop at GRL, so your answers mean a lot!

One thing that came back in your answers is that you think of The Beautiful Boys of Romance. Now, i know you know them when you see them! LOL But if you have a minute, would you tell me what you think of when you hear The Beautiful Boys of Romance. Who or what are they to you? What feelings do they evoke?

Ready, set, go. Hugs!

Flowery Praise for HEARTS AND FLOUR! Plus, Important Announcment

Hi everyone–

While we’ve been blog touring and blog hopping, my most recent release, Hearts and Flour, has been doing some hopping of it’s own. While it’s moving to the higher numbers on Amazon now (it’s still on the bestseller list) it has racked up a heap of praise from a lot of reviewers. I thought i’d share a little with you. (Check out the bottom of this post for an important announcement).

Lena Grey, super reviewer at Rainbow Book Reviews said:
“This is a light-hearted, endearing romance, which also touches on some more serious issues as well, i.e., being gay, fear of coming out, infidelity, loyalty, cross-dressing, and most important of all, being true to yourself. I recommend this story to everyone who would like to read a good Valentine’s Day story, excellently written, candid, with great humor, and seriousness all combined in a happily ever after package. Thank you, Tara, for a unique, enjoyable story.”

Our favorite ELF at Night Owl Reviews said:
Once again this author has provided enlightenment about a subject that I know nothing about even as her charismatic men struggle with acceptance and the judgement of society. I thought that the grandmother in this story was an inspiration with her poise and support and shows what family should be all about. I’m not sure I will ever get to the point of trying Micah’s version of healthy foods but I am definitely in the mood for a decadent cupcake now!”

Our pal, Buffy Kennedy at Buffy’s Ramblings said:
“There were some heartbreaking parts, when the ex re-enters the picture and of course the confrontation over the dreaded cupcakes. However, true to Tara Lain’s style, they’re absolutely worth getting through as the resolution is satisfying and just so light-hearted.

Another beautiful and endearing story of self-realization, self-acceptance, and love from this author, Hearts and Flour is not to be missed. It’s compelling from the first word to the last, and will leave you with a smile.”

Evelise at S. E. X. Reviews said:
“The sex was steamy and filled the pages of the story. Tara Lain never disappoints in her tales. She tackles difficult issues with clarity and humor.
Definite S.E.X.
A five handcuff review.”

Tams at MM Good Book Reviews said:
“All along the way Lain gives us not only some knock your socks off romps in white sheets, but she also touches on hatred, bigotry, blackmailing and stupidity.”

And there are many, many more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and flour) to all those who have taken the time to read this quirky book.

And now — I promised that we would start a Backlist Day. It’s coming this Saturday and Sunday, so it will be a Backlist Weekend. AND, i’ll not only feature one of my backlist books and offer it as a giveaway to some lucky commenter, i will also have a backlist book from my friend, Milly Taiden! So put it on the calendar and plan to come over and comment!

Meanwhile, i haven’t had any new followers on this blog for a long time, so if you don’t follow it, would you? : )

A Valentine’s Story for Valentine’s Day!

Hi everyone!

Happy Valentines Day! I was wondering what to post today when i realized that i could only do one thing! Since i wrote a true Valentine’s Day story, i have to post a scene from that book that only the people who have read the book have seen. (And i should mention that the group who have read it is BIG since it’s been on the gay romance bestseller list at Amazon since it came out. For which i thank you!)

So here is a special little scene from Hearts and Flour!

Micah rose up and slowly pulled his soft cock from that lovely spot. He slipped off the condom and backed off the bed. “Be right back.” He padded into the bathroom, tossed the condom, and warmed a washcloth then came back and wiped off Quentin. “I have something I’d like to give you.”

 “I’ll show you.”

He grabbed a robe from the hook behind the door. Furtwangler fell in behind him as he walked to the kitchen. “I forgot about this until now, buddy. What do you think?”

“Merwaowr.” “Yeah. I think I really got it for Quentin too.”

He stretched up to the top cabinet and retrieved the box he had hidden there two weeks before. The cat rubbed against his legs. “Yeah, I like this idea.”

He walked back into the bedroom. The washcloth was gone and Quentin had straightened the covers. He sat leaning against the headboard, his soft curls framing that angelic face.

Micah sat on the edge of the bed. “You can refuse this and I’ll understand. When I bought this I thought it was for someone else. Now I realize I bought it because I love it and it was always for you.” He handed Quentin the silver wrapped box.

 “Should I open it?”

“Absolutely. It’s yours.” Micah put out a hand and stopped Quentin’s fingers on the bow. “It’s a

“Of what?”

“Open it.” Quentin undid the bow and then pulled off the paper. When he opened the box, the gold bracelet glimmered and the little carved dolphins danced around its perimeter. “Oh my stars, it’s beautiful.”

“Not as beautiful as you. Will you wear it?”

His smile was shy. “If you want me to.”

Micah took the gold band and unclasped it, then fit it around Quentin’s slim wrist. “Whether you’re dressed as Queen or as Quentin, you’re unique and beautiful. I’d love it if this could remind you of that.”

“Oh my.” Tears dripped onto Quentin’s smiling lips. Micah leaned forward for a kiss. “I’ll be forever grateful to Valentine’s Day.”

“And to anti-Valentine’s Day.”
There you go, dears. Thank you for all your help and support and affection for my books. I so appreciate you every day!  : )
