I’m doing a workshop at RT with Cassandra Carr and Daisy Harris called Sell Fast! Sell Often! How New Authors Can Launch Their Careers Like a Pro. (I hope you’ll come if you’re at RT.) But one of the topics we’ll touch on is the current thinking by readers about self-published books.
I’d like your opinion. When you see a new book perhaps by an author you’ve never heard of or barely heard of, do you check to see if it’s self-pubbed ? Do you care? What is your attitude as a reader about self-published books? Please share your positive thoughts and experiences, negative thoughts and experiences, and/or neutral thoughts on this topic. I can’t wait to hear what you think. Remember, from a readers point of view even if you’re an author.
